Anna Grace Thompson, age 88 of Bronston, Ky., passed away on Monday, Sept. 28, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1920 in the Quinton community of Pulaski County, the daughter of Bruce and Rhoda Godsey New. She was a homemaker and a member of the Quinton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Howard (and Wanda) Thompson of the Quinton community; a daughter, Gail (and Gary) Gossett of the Quinton community; a grandchild, Erin (and Jared) Weber of Lexington, Ky.; and a special caregiver and friend, Mary Perdue.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Elza Thompson; a son, Ralph Thompson; two brothers, Elmer and Cecil New; and a sister, Lela Clayton.

Visitation for Mrs. Thompson will be Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Dishman officiating. Burial will be in the Quinton Cemetery.

The Thompson family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Quinton Cemetery Fund.
