Judy Lynn Wells Vandiver, 51, a resident of Latonia, Ky., passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at her home.

She was born Nov. 13, 1957, at Georgetown, Ohio, the daughter of J.C. Wells and Shirley Mae Hargis. She was a homemaker and enjoyed drawing, painting, traveling and NASCAR. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Taylor Mill, Ky.

She is survived by her daughter, Suellen Hedger of Taylor Mill; one son, David Vandiver Jr. of Walton, Ky.; mother, Shirley Mae Hargis Wells of Batavia, Ohio; two sisters, Carol Paul of Bethel, Ohio, and Susan Trasser of Loveland, Ohio; one brother, Ken Wells of Georgetown, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. at the Hargis Family Cemetery east of Somerset, Ky.

Lange & New Bros. Family Funeral Home, 603 Monticello Street, has been entrusted with all local arrangements by the family of Judy Lynn Vandiver.
