Gary D. Hunley, 57, of Runway Boulevard in Somerset, Ky., passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 31, 1952, son of Evelyn McClure Hunley and the late Paul Hunley. He was a financial controller for Lifeline Home Health Care and owner/operator of Compucount Accounting and Tax Firm. Gary was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree. He was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Flynn Hunley, whom he married on November 16, 1973; his mother, Evelyn Hunley of Somerset; one son, Derrick (and Kristy) Hunley of Somerset; one daughter, Alison Hunley of Somerset; and two grandchildren, Madyson and Morgan Hunley.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 30 at Victory Christian Fellowship, 1156 Oak Hill Rd., Somerset, Ky., with Bro. Mark Harrell officiating.

Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the church.

Donations may be made to Victory Christian Fellowship.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
