She is survived by her husband, Stanley Wesley, whom she married on Aug. 1, 1964, in West Somerset, Ky., being his “Queen of Hearts” for almost 50 years; her special friend, “Missy,” who rode in Patsy's wheelchair with her everywhere she went; one daughter, Susan Elizabeth (and Robert) Wesley Young of Cincinnati, Ohio; two very special sisters, who she thought of like her daughters, Rita Faye (and Rick) Gilreath, of Imperial, Mo., and Shirley Ann (and David) Hughes, of Bronston, Ky.; three brothers, Charles Grimsley of Somerset, Ky., Gary Wayne (and Lynn) Grimsley of Somerset, Ky., and Bruce Allen Grimsley of  Dallas, Texas; a special nephew, Casper Hughes, of Bronston, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Dean Grimsley and Frankie Jackson Grimsley.
Visitation was Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Delmar Whitter and Bro. Steve Sutton officiating. 
Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery in Ansel, Ky. Pallbearers will be Casper Hughes, Kyle Gilreath, David Burton, Donnie Wesley, Michael Grimsley and Lige Stearns. 
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Carter Whittle, age 62, of the Shopville community passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at his residence. 
Arrangements are pending by Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
