Hattie VanHoosier

Hattie Ilene VanHoosier, age 92, of Nancy, Ky., departed this life on April 23, 2013, at her residence. 
Hattie was born on January 19, 1921 in Weldon, Ill., to the late Arnold and Claire Daulton Marcum. She worked for Keebler Bakery in Cincinnati, Ohio, for 38 years. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Nancy, Ky. She loved her dog, Holly.
She is survived by a son, Grady Phillip Cook Jr. of Nancy, Ky.; a daughter, Joyce Dean Jung of Fairfield, Ohio; three brothers, Wayne Marcum of Nancy, Ky., Milford Marcum of Nancy, Ky., Lowell Marcum of Somerset, Ky.; four sisters, Sophie Bloomfield of Faubush, KY, Wanda Epperson of Nancy, Ky., Ann New of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Beulah Roberts of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren, Scott Cook, Pat Cook, Rhonda Ray, Dale Perkins, Tammy Trantham, Kim Lunsford; six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Brian, Matt, Amanda, Kourtney, Kyler and a very special friend, Sue Troxtel.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar "Dick" VanHoosier; a brother, Clifford Marcum; two sisters, Adel Bolton and Doris Osbourne; and a great grandson, Adam Trantham.
Visitation will be today at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Harris officiating. 
Burial with be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Epperson, Mike Epperson, Bryan Stanton, Dale Perkins, Pat Cook and Scott Cook.
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Hattie Ilene VanHoosier.
