Randy Eugene Elmore, 46, of Somerset (formerly of Russell County) died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. 
He was born March 21, 1967 in Albany, Ky., to Helen Marie Anderson Elmore and the late Arvil Eugene
Elmore. He was the Athletic Director at Pulaski County High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Somerset.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Ford Elmore, Somerset; two sons, Joseph Luke Elmore and Joshua Hagan Elmore, both of Somerset; mother, Hellen Marie Elmore, Jamestown; two sisters, Diane Stinson, Nashville, Tenn., and Brenda Elmore, Jamestown; and mother- and father-in-law, Bob and Diane Ford, Russell Springs.
Funeral services for Randy Eugene Elmore will be at 1 p.m. Eastern Time Friday, August 23, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Somerset with Dr. French B. Harmon officiating. 
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Central Time Wednesday at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel in Russell Springs and at 5 p.m. Eastern Time Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Somerset and 11 a.m. Eastern Time Friday with the funeral service to be held at 1 PM.
Burial in the Jamestown Cemetery
Honorary pallbearers are the Babe Ruth State championship team. Active pallbearers are Mitchell Johnson, Scott Taylor, Al Gover, Johnny Hines, Lance Wade, Brian Miller, Joey Warren, and James Powell.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Joseph Luke and Joshua Hagan Elmore Educational Fund. These can be made at the funeral home. Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs in charge of arrangements.
