Clyde B. Bailiff, Sr., 77, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Ky. 
Mr. Bailiff was born on November 8, 1935 in Greensboro, N. C. to the late Howard V. and Cleo Daniel Bailiff.  He graduated from Greensboro Senior High and the University of Tennessee. 
Mr. Bailiff was a retired superintendent of Norfolk Southern Railroad.  He loved hunting and fishing, but his passion was the game of golf. He also was a Kentucky Colonel. 
He leaves his wife, Jeanette H. Bailiff; two sons, C. B. and Bret; brothers, James (and Olive) Bailiff of Greensboro, N.C. and Wayne Bailiff of Hartswell, GA; niece and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Betty G. Hinson, Greensboro, N.C. 
Visitation for Mr. Bailiff will be today at 6 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Ky. 80, Somerset.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Brian Thomas conducting the service.  
Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, Ky. 
Memorials may be made to the Campground Baptist Church Building Fund, 3500 N. Hwy. 1247, Somerset, Ky., 42503 and/or Hospice of Lake Cumberland,
100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, Ky., 42503.
