John H. Muse, Jr., age 62, of Somerset, Ky. departed this life on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Muse was born on May 23, 1950 in Somerset, Ky. to Julia Marie (Hargis) Heath and the late John Harold Muse Sr. He worked for 22 years as a welder for Somerset Refinery and was a former employee of Lear Siegler Company. Mr. Muse loved fishing, buying and selling antiques, and going to yard sales.
He married Connie Lynn (Lockard) Muse on Oct. 14, 1976 in Fort Payne, Ala. and she survives him.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his mother, Julia Marie Heath of Somerset; two sons, John Paul Muse of Somerset and James (and Cyndi) Muse of Somerset; two daughters, Tammy (and Kyle) Wyatt of Somerset and Joni (and Johnnie) Creekmore of El Paso, Texas; ten grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Janice Mc Adams of Ocala, Fla. and Robin Heath of Somerset; and a brother, Bruce Heath of Ocala, Fla.
Mr. Muse was preceded in death by his father, John Harold Muse, Sr.; a daughter, Clarissa Norton; and a sister, Jeannie Blevins.
Visitation for Mr. Muse will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Wyatt and Bro. Greg Lockard officiating. 
Burial will be in the Bronston Cemetery. 
Pallbearers for Mr. Muse will be Bruce Heath, Charles Hargis, Letcher Napier, Eddie Cantrell, J.D. Hensley, and Bill Phelps.
