Kenneth Bray
Kenneth Ray Bray, age 66 of Ky. 790, Bronston, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at his home. 
He was born on June 23, 1947 in Cabin Hollow, Ky. to the late Virgil and Nannie Neeley Bray. Kenneth was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed taking his grandchildren fishing, exploring in the snow, and he loved auctions. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill Bray and Bob Bray; and three sisters, Brenda Bray, Faye Bray and Wilma Bray. 
He is survived by his wife, Mary Dianna Miles Bray; four sons, Stony Hotop of Burnside, Ky., Virgil (Connie) Bray of Burnside, Ky., James Bray of Bronston, Ky. and Kenneth Bray of Somerset, Ky.; one daughter, Dionna (Coury) Carter of Science Hill, Ky.; three brothers, Tom (Wilma) Bray of Kipton, Ohio, Michael (Brenda) Bray of Ohio, and Orin (Mary) Bray of Somerset, Ky.; and three sisters, Donna (Pete) Taylor of Somerset, Ky., Anna (Lynn) Hackworth of Eubank, Ky., and Mary (Dale) Troxtle of Bronston, Ky. 
He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 after 6 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffith officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kenneth Bray Monument Fund, c/o Southern Oaks Funeral Home, 2110 West Hwy. 914, Somerset, Ky., 42503.

Donnie Godby
Donnie T. Godby, 87, of Science Hill, Ky., passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehabilitation.
She was born in Public, Ky. on Feb. 19, 1927, daughter of the late Robert and Louisa Bullock. She was a homemaker and a member of Science Hill Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her children, Margaret (and Ken) Catron, Janice (and Dave) Fraley, Gloria Roth, and Larry Joe (and Renita) Godby; two brothers, Beryl (and Helen) Bullock and Cartell (and Betsy) Bullock; 10 grandchildren, Jon Anderson, Marc (and Angela) Anderson, Tiffany Anderson, Kenny (and Shanda) Catron, Jay (and Umida) Catron, Matthew (and Alyson) Roth, Keena (and Steve) Norton, Shannon (and Kristi) Fraley, Katie (and Brad) Gover and John (and Allison) Fraley; and 19 great-grandchildren, Gavin Catron, Katelyn Anderson, Haggan Bishop, Gunnar Catron, Shaw Bishop, Griffin Catron, Pyper Anderson, Vander Catron, Hollis Anderson, Hunter Kinney, Dylan Norton, Colton Fraley, Carson Fraley, Camdon Fraley, Foster Fraley, Blake Fraley, Luke Gover, Kaitlyn Gover and Jasmine Gover.
She was a preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; two sisters; and her husband, Loyd Taylor "Tate" Godby, whom she married on June 17, 1944 and who died on April 23, 1983.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Dr. Curtis Sellers officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Korey Nicholls
Korey Russell Allen Nicholls, 20, of Eubank, Ky., passed away suddenly on Monday, March 24, 2014.
He was born in Somerset, Ky. on April 21, 1993. Korey was a beloved son, brother and grandson. He was an honor student in Psychology with a double major in Philosophy. 
Korey is survived by his mother, Ane Brush; his father, Rick Girdler; his sister, Natalie Autumn Skye Nicholls; grandmother, Sharon Lynn Nicholls; grandfather, Darwin Russell Nicholls; beloved uncle, Scottie Allen Nicholls; and aunt, Connie Joyce Shock; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Korey was a wonderful kind-hearted young man, who will be ever so dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Louise Ferrell.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Massey officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

James Roberts
Mr. James Thurman Roberts, age 96, of Baltimore, Md., passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Roland Park Place in Baltimore. 
Mr. Roberts was born on June 21, 1917 in Pulaski County, Ky. to the late Virgil Dick Roberts and Zelda Mae Thurman Roberts. He was married to Saralou Bell Roberts, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Roberts is survived by a daughter, Alice Mae Roberts Wilkinson (Charles), and grandchildren, James Randolph Michele (Randy) and Allison Jeanine Michele Pettinelli.  
He is also survived by other friends and relatives.
In addition to Mr. Roberts' parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, James Lewis Roberts.
A graveside service for James Thurman Roberts will be held at Somerset Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 with Rev. Steve Spitzer officiating.
