Richard Dykes

Richard Allen Dykes, 60, husband of Vicki Hammons Dykes, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012.  
He was born June 1, 1952 in Pulaski County, Ky., son of the late Rev. James "Jay" and Imogene Rogers Dykes. Richard was a modification specialist and retired from Clark Equipment operations. 
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Christopher Allen (and Michelle) Dykes of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Austen, Jordan, Brayden, Rylan and Jaden Dykes; two sisters, Rosemary Warren of Georgetown and Linda Kay (and Gib) Gosser of Somerset, Ky.; one brother, Roger (and Sherry) Dykes of Deming, New Mexico; two sisters-in-law, Kathy (and Jerry) Peel and Debbie (and Frank) Wash.  Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home, where services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Bro. Harry Hargis officiating.  
Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Dykes, Austin Dykes, Jordan Darnell, Jerry Peel, Frank Wash and Daniel Winchester.  
Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, John Muse, James Muse, Keith Warren, David Farmer and Jeff Dykes.  
Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
