Donald Beeler
Mr. Donald Gene "Don" Beeler, 75, of Burnside, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Somerset, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. 
Entombment will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
The family of Mr. Donald Gene "Don" Beeler will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12 noon Saturday until time for services. 
Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
 
Joe Cash
Joe Russell Cash, 86, of Eubank, Ky., passed away Tues-day, January 28, 2014 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab.
He was born in Buncombe, Ky., on August 22, 1927, son of the late Jack and Winnie Jones Cash. He was a retired machinist for Ky. Frame & Lumber, a farmer, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Floyd Switch Baptist Church.  
He is survived by three sons, Harold (and Diana) Cash of Somerset, David (and Kera) Cash and Gerald (and Tammy) Cash, both of Eubank; three sisters, Edna
Blevins of Eubank, Alberta (and Richard) Lowe of Campbellsville, and Nannie
Marie (and Don) Dick of Acton, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Scott (and Shelly) Cash, Elizabeth (and Brady) Anderson, Ryan (and Rebecca) Cash, Shawnte (and Eric)
Williams, Dustin (and Hazel) Cash, Sarah (and Tim) Kobie, Wile Kraft, Heather (and Tyrel) Todd, Meranda (and Darin) Jones, and Whitney Cash; 13 great-grandchildren, Rayse Cash, Kamden Cash, Weston Hatfield, Gabriella Anderson, Hayden Anderson, Andrew Cash, Logan Cash, Brogan Williams, Tanner Williams, Jacob Todd, Caleb Todd, Mason Todd, and Kaydence Jones. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eudena Sowder Cash, whom he married on January 7, 1951 and who died on March 21, 2000; his parents; a granddaughter, Meganne Cash; three brothers, Ernest "Pete" Cash, Raymond Cash, Louie Cash, and two infant brothers.   
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Margaret Huber
Margaret Fern Huber, 64, of Eubank, Ky., passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Danville, Ky., on September 21, 1949, daughter of the late Lester and Marcelene Lee Edington Stevens. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Huber of Eubank; one son, Brian James Huber of Science Hill; one brother, Dwight Stevens of Somerset; and one grandchild, Laura Renea Huber.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lewis Darrell Stevens.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Brad King officiating.
Burial will be in Pilot Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12 noon Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Eugene Watkins
Mr. Eugene Watkins, son of the late Leonard A. and Ada James Watkins, was born October 8, 1928 in Dykes, KY and he departed this life on Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Leitchfield, Ky., having attained the age of 85 years.
He accepted Christ as his savior at a very young age and truly loved his Lord. He was a Korean Army Veteran, a very kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed.
Eugene is survived by one son, Michael Watkins of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Sharon Cohorn and Rhonda Davidson and his former wife, Lola Faye Watkins, all of Manchester, Ky.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Leland Watkins of Leitchfield, Ky., William "Bill" Watkins of Brookville, Ind., Cecil Watkins of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ronnie Watkins of Lexington, Ky.; four sisters, Lena Price of Trenton, Ohio, Zena Vanhook of Harrison, Ind., Delma Candido and Dean Conley of Somerset, Ky.; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives who mourn his passing.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Joseph Candido; one sister-in-law, Juanita Price Watkins; two nephews, Gary Vanhook, and Billy Watkins, Jr.; and one great-grandchild, Blake Allen Cohorn.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 31, 2014 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Pace officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery with military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 38.
The family of Mr. Eugene Watkins will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 until time for services.

Patrick White
Patrick Eugene White, 80, son of the late Carl T. and Kathleen Hines White departed this life on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at his residence in Nancy.  
He is survived by his wife; Carol White; two sons, Jeffrey Scott (and Vickie) White of Lexington, Ky., and Daniel Layne (and Tammy) White of Lexington, Ky.; a daughter; Sonya Kim (and Sean) Keefe of Winfield, WV; a brother, John Arthur (and Pam) White of Lexington, Ky.; five sisters; Sayra Lucille (and Gary) Brannock of Lexington, Ky., Linda (and Bill) Ashley of Louisville, Ky., Sanda (and Billy) Calvert of Lexington, Ky., LaVerne (and Ronnie) Taylor of Lexington, Ky., and Patsy (and Dale) Parker of Paris, Ky.; nine grandchildren, Brianna Swain, Alicia Baker, Andrea White, Brinley White, Megan White, Kyle Keefe, Nathan Keefe, Bridget Keefe and Brandon Keefe. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold White; and an infant brother, Bruce White. A graduate of Winchester High School, he enlisted in the Navy where he served as a Hospital Corpsman for six years. During that time, Pat participated on the Basketball and Football Team and later, honorably discharged. After his Military Service, Pat worked as a printer for Butler's Printing for 11 years, and was promoted to Foreman. As a commercial printer, he enrolled at EKU Eastern Kentucky University night program and after many years attained a Masters Degree in Industrial Vocational Education. While still going to EKU, he was asked to teach and select the equipment for the printing program called Graphic Arts at the new Central Kentucky Vocational School, in Lexington, Ky.  After teaching two years, he was asked to go into administration as a Co-op Coordinator and served as President of VICA Vocational Industrial Clubs of America. He was then promoted and transferred to Franklin County Vocational School as the Director.  He became the State Director for Industrial Education, developing the job of staff exchange, which allowed Vocational teachers to go back into the industry and upgrade their skills; a statewide procedure that is still in operation.  He became Director of the Central Kentucky Vocational Technical Center and later transferred to Somerset. 
Pat became the Director of the Technical School in Somerset, where he retired June of 1992.  While in Lexington, Pat served as a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church.  He was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #298 for seven years.  He was a Little League football coach for the Wildcats team in Castlewood Park, Lexington.
After moving to Nancy, he was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He served as the Secretary and President of BVA Blind Veterans Administration. Pat was a member of Lake Ellerslie Fishing Club in Lexington and enjoyed fishing on Lake Cumberland, where he ran a small bass tournament for 10 years with help from many local fishermen.  
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Pat's funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
Bro. Jamie Epperson, Bro. Lester Caldwell, Bro. Larry Harris and Bro. Bill Meece will officiate the service.  
Burial will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery.  Full Military Honors will be performed by American Legion Post 38 Honor Guard. 
Casket bearers will be Ryon Swain, Josh Baker, Sean Keefe, Nathan Keefe, Ryan Barrass, and Tony Music.  
Honorary bearers will be John White, Gary Brannock, Billy Calvert, Ronnie Taylor, Mike Epperson, and Jason Sammet.  
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4411 Hwy. 1664 Nancy, Ky., 42544, and Gideons International for Bible placement.
