Rual J. Kissee, 74, of Nancy, Ky., departed this life on Monday, August 27, 2012 in Nancy.
He was born on April 24, 1938 in Nancy, Ky., to the late Elmer and Aggie Roberts Kissee.  He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 38. He was a retired lab technician for Crane Company. Mr. Kissee attended Pleasant Point Baptist Church. He loved farming, raising and riding horses.  
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Baker Kissee, whom he married on June 30, 2000 in Nancy, Ky.; a son, Kendell (and Jacinda) Kissee of Nancy, Ky.; a step-son, Denis Pence of Somerset, Ky.; a step-daughter, Teresa Phelps of Nancy, Ky.; a daughter-in-law, April Kissee of Nancy, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Keshia, Derrik and Kadin Kissee and Crissy Phelps, Joseph Phelps and Kaylee Pence; two great-grandchildren, Madison Jade Kissee and Daylin Nichole Broderick; two brothers, Ray (and Irona) Kissee and Freddy (and Gladys) Kissee, both of Nancy, Ky.; a sister, Bernice Garner of Nancy, Ky.; and two special cousins, Phillip Kissee and Norman "Butch" Kissee.  
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rual Keith Kissee; a sister, Carol Kissee and a brother-in-law, Howard Garner.   
Visitation will be held today at 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Ky. 80, Somerset. 
Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Kenneth Hammond officiating. 
Burial will be in the Cedar Point Cemetery. American Legion Post 38 Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.  
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Rual J. Kissee.
