Fayrene Lester

Somerset —  

Fayrene Lester, 74, passed away Sunday, November 4, at her residence. 
She was born October 13, 1938 in the Hazel Dale Community of Pulaski County to the late Noah and Clarice Poynter Sutton. She is a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. She loved fishing, hunting, traveling, spending time with children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, having family together for special meals and holidays, and loved going to church and serving her Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Clarice Poynter Sutton; and by her husband, Charles Lester Sr., whom she married on June 7, 1957 in Jellico, Tenn.; and by two brothers, Noah Clinton Sutton and Edwin James “EJ” Sutton.
She is survived by son Charles Lester Jr. (and Cheryl) of Somerset; daughter Charlene L. Rose of Somerset; grandchildren Crystal (and Michael) Ruckel, Nick (and Ambria) Mullins, Chasity (and Chad) Ogle, Angela (and Joshua) Harris, Bethany Lester, and Chance (and Miranda) Lester; and great-grandchildren Mayson Ruckel, Aiden Ruckel, Holly Harris, Kayla Candido, and Deegan Mullins.
Visitation for Fayrene Sutton Lester will be today at 5 p.m. at the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Rick Lawson and Brother Ted Towner officiating.
Burial will be in the Woodstock Cemetery.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
