Robert Bullock
Robert L. Bullock, of Ferguson, Ky., departed this life for his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
He was born in Louretha, Ky., which is now called Ferguson, on September 4, 1934. He was the son of the late William Arthur and Eva Bullock.
Survivors include his loving wife and caregiver of 51 years and 9 months, Edna Jane Burton Bullock.  They were united in marriage on December 18, 1954 in Somerset, Ky.; two loving daughters, Shirley (and Gerald) Roberts, of Nancy, Ky., and Judy (and Bobby) Bell, of Somerset, Ky.; a grandson, Michael
Robert Bell, of Somerset; a granddaughter, Lacey Nicole Bell, also of Somerset; two great granddaughters, Sequoia Star Owens and Cherokee Sky Owens, of Somerset; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Bobbie Jo Harrison, and her children, Gabrielle, Cheyenne and Joshua Harrison, who thought of Robert as a grandpa.
He loved his whole family with all his heart and they were the lights in his life.
Robert was of the Baptist faith and will be mourned deeply by his family and close friends.  He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Michael Bullock; a brother, William Bullock; and two sisters, Zelma Eunice Meece and Mary Baker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 6 p.m. Robert's funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 1 p.m, at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ray Napier officiating.  
Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Anthony “Tony” Hood
Anthony "Tony" Ray Hood, 38, of Eubank, Ky. passed away on Tuesday April 15, 2014. 
He was born on May 10, 1975 in Somerset, Ky. to Gary and Brenda Emerson Hood.  Tony was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. He was a Direct Support Professional at Independent Opportunities, a 1993 graduate of Pulaski Co. High School and enjoyed four wheeling, motorcycling, guns, fishing, his jeep and being a great uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a friend to everyone and was very much loved. 
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Maxine Philippi Hood; his uncle, Eddie Emerson and aunt, Charlene Hood Hornback; four cousins, Clay Emerson, Chad Emerson, Glen Douglas Ashley
and Rodney Lee Ashley. 
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Brenda Hood of Eubank, Ky.; grandparents, Mary Wesley Emerson of Science Hill, Ky. and David Russell Emerson of Waynesburg, Ky.; sisters, Tonya (and Roger) Dykes of Somerset, Ky., Catina (and Leslie) Bates of Somerset, Ky. and Catrina Hall of Somerset, Ky.; uncles, Richard (and Brenda) Hood of Somerset, Ky., Marcus Hood of Somerset, Ky., Hubert Emerson, Russell (and Debra) Emerson of Science Hill, Ky., Billy Emerson of Somerset, Ky. and Tim Emerson of Somerset, Ky.; aunts, Glenda (and Glen) Ashley of Somerset, Ky., Glenda Kay (and Delmer) Pitman of Somerset, Ky., Sandy (and Ron) McCalister of Somerset, Ky., Patricia Wilson of Somerset, Ky. and Rebecca (and Eugene) Lowery of Somerset, Ky.; nephews, Jordan Dykes, Austin Hall, Koltin Taylor and Kentin Taylor; and nieces, Brittany Bates, Alyssa Dykes, Kali Childress and Kati Childress. He is also survived by many cousins; a special friend Heather Keith of McCreary Co. Ky.; and like a brother, David Hall of Somerset, Ky. 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 after 6 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse and Bro. Jeff Griffith officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nick McCalister, Jeremy Emerson, Jarrod Emerson, Leslie Bates, Roger Dykes Jr., Ron McCalister, Chris Ashley, Austin Hall, Brian Hood and Ricky Mounce. 
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.

J.C. Gossett
J.C. Gossett, 87, of Nancy, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at his residence.
Arrangements are pending at this time.

Terry Moore
Terry Moore, 66, of Bronston, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014  at Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset.  
Born Sunday, July 6, 1947 in McKinney, he was the son of the late Frank C. & Pauline  Sims Moore. He was the widower of the late Karen K. Eldridge Moore, who preceded him in death April 1, 2004. Terry was a US Army Veteran, who served during the Vietnam Era. Throughout his working career, he owned 
Terry’s Body Shop and also owned a restaurant. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and building things.
Terry leaves behind his partner, Donna Cook of Bronston; two sons, Greg Moore (and Theresa Kibby) and Tyler Moore both of Somerset; one grandson, Strahd Moore-currently serving in US Navy; one sister-in-law, Carole Moore of Kings Mountain; and two nieces, Gina Douglas and Jerri Lynn  Moore.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one  brother, Jerry Moore.
A funeral service will be held 12 noon Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Jones officiating the service.  
Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery with hull military honors performed  by the Caswell-Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion.
The Visitation will be held 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the  funeral home.

Ronnie Nevius
Ronnie Lee Nevius, 68, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at UK Medical Center. 
Born in Boyle County, Feb. 28, 1946, he was the son of William Francis and Martha Irene Gaddis Nevius.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Ronnie “Butch” Nevius Jr. and Cindy Jo (and Randy) Baker, Carolyn (and Greg) Davis, and Jenna N. Bombe; stepchildren, Jeff (and Dorte) Orberson and Rhonda Orberson; three sisters, Carroll Myatt, Donna (and Bill) Springer and Renee (and David) Hammons; 11 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and one great-grandchild on the way.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2014 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev Keith Willoughby and Rev. Jeff Griffith will officiate. 
Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.

Linda Phelps
Linda Irvine Phelps, 66, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born in Pulaski County, Ky., on July 4, 1947, daughter of the late Esker and Ruby Hall Irvine.  She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Dennis Phelps of Eubank and Larry (and Lesa) Phelps and Michael Phelps, both of Somerset; two sisters, Reva Vaughn of West Chester, Ohio and Bernice Smith of Science Hill; and five grandchildren, Eric Phelps, Kimberly Phelps, Anthony Phelps and Whitney Phelps and Destiney Phelps, who are twins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Phelps, whom she married on September 6, 1963 and who died on March 9, 1996, her parents and her twin sister, Brenda Meyer.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Bullock and Bro. Slade Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Leonard Sears
Leonard Wilson Sears, age 99, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 in Somerset, Ky.  
Visitation will be on Good Friday, April 18, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Sears' funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.  
Interment will be in the Fellowship Cemetery in Shopville, Ky.  
Pallbearers will be Travis Richardson, Justin Richardson, Lynn Sears, Joe Sears, Matt Sears and Jay Sears.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and the Fellowship Methodist Church.

William Shelton
William Kyle Shelton, 34 of the Oak Hill Community in Somerset, Ky. passed away on Monday April 14, 2014 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. 
He was born on April 13, 1980 in Somerset, Ky., to William B. Shelton and Kathy Barnes. 
Kyle was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1998 graduate of Southwestern High School and enjoyed dirt bike racing, fishing, boating, the outdoors and hunting. 
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lesley Cox Shelton. 
He is survived by his father, William B. Shelton and special friend Lorrie Compton of Somerset, Ky., and his mother, Kathy Barnes and step-father Joe McKinley of Somerset, Ky.; three children, William Evan
Shelton, Macey Shea Shelton and Madison Kelly Shelton all of Somerset, Ky; and a special friend, Jamie Cook of Somerset, Ky. 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 after 6 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Brown and Bro. Daniel Carmack officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
