Patricia Korabik
Patricia Margaret Korabik, 80, of Columbia, Ky., passed away Sunday, April  20, 2014 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. 
She was born in Stonington, Maine on May 9, 1933 to the late Harold Turner and Elthea Mercy Jones.  She was married to Milton John Korabik, whom preceded her in death. Patricia was a member of the Kings Park St. Joseph Catholic Church in Long Island, NY. Patricia was a telephone operator for the State of New York.
Patricia is survived by son James Milton Korabik of Kings Park, Long Island, NY; daughter, Ellen Rich (Jeffrey Donald) of Edmonton, KY; brothers Charles Turner (and Wilma), and Robert "Bob" Turner, both of Stonington, ME, and Richard Turner of St. Augustine, Fla.; and daughter-in-law, Brandi Korabik.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Ashton Korabik, Ariel Korabik, Cameron Korabik, Bobbie Korabik, Emma Rich and David Carr; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Carr and Caleb Korabik.
Also preceding Patricia in death was a daughter, Debbie Korabik Carr.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Patricia Margaret Korabik will be held at a later date in Calverton Long Island, NY.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, Ky., 42503.

Larry McPheron
Larry Wayne McPheron, 58, of Monticello, Ky., and formerly of the Bandy Community passed away on Tuesday April 22, 2014 in Wayne Co. Ky. 
He was born on March 20, 1956 in Somerset, Ky. to Herbert McPheron and the late Viola Reynolds McPheron. 
Larry recently accepted Jesus as as his Savior and was baptized. He was a former chef and carpet layer and enjoyed bowling, poker, flea markets, fishing and making wishing wells. 
He is preceded in death by his mother, Viola McPheron, and his grandparents, John and Laverne Lovins McPheron and Henry and Josie Logsdon Reynolds.
