He is survived by his wife, Sheila Oldham McPheron; his father and step-mother, Herbert and Ruth McPheron of Eubank, Ky.; three sons, Scott (and Lavender) Canada of Science Hill, Ky., Larry Jr. (and Trista) McPheron of Monticello, Ky., and William (and Tammy) McPheron of Monticello, Ky.; five daughters, Lori (and Alvin) Locker of Burkesville, Ky., Tonya (and Justin) Cantrell of Smithville, Tenn., Jody (and Jonathan) Bell of Monticello, Ky., Rosie (and Michael Lawson) McPheron of Monticello, Ky. and Amanda (and Christopher) Bentley of Jacksonville, Ill.; three brothers, Dr. John (and Teresa) McPheron of Rogersville, Tenn., Bro. Randy (and Lisa) McPheron of Mt. Vernon, Ky. and Jimmy (and Kim) McPheron of Brodhead, Ky.; two sisters, Linda (and Ronnie) Adams of Brodhead, Ky. and Betsy (and Bruce) Hopkis of Eubank, Ky.; 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and two aunts, Sylvia Brown of Eubank, Ky. and Bessie Brock of Covington, Ky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and neighbors and special friends, Randy and Tina Hall of Monticello, Ky.
Visitation will be Friday, April 25, 2014 after 11 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Randy McPheron and Bro. John McPheron officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery in Rockcastle, Ky.
Pallbearers will be Scott Canada, Larry McPheron, Jr., William McPheron, Mikey Lawson, Jonathan Bell, Jason Fulton, Jason Piercy and Kevin Glass. Honorary
Pallbearers will be Randy Hall and Jimmy McPheron.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Larry McPheron Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
