Glenn Callahan
Glenn D. Callahan, 89, of Lockland, Ohio, formerly of the Grundy community, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014.
He was born in Somerset, Ky. on Feb. 12, 1925, son of the late John and Alta Randall Callahan. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Betty Sue (and Jim) Smith and Alta (and Mark) Ellis; six grandchildren, Jack, Glenna, Jason, Zach, Cody and Taylor; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. 
He is also survived by three brothers, James (and Doris) Callahan, Billy (and Edwina) Callahan and George (and June) Callahan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Yahnig Callahan, his parents, one brother, Irvin Callahan and sister-in-law, Effie Callahan.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Pollard officiating.
Burial will be in Rock Lick Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, Ohio 45263.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Joseph Hardwick
Joseph Ballou Hardwick, age 89, died peacefully on June 14, 2014.
He was the beloved husband of over 60 years to the late Evelyn (Schafer) Hardwick, and loving father of Karen Beckett (Richard), Joseph Hardwick, Jr. and David Hardwick (Laura). 
Joe was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Lucy Belle Hardwick; sister Fanny (Hardwick) Feltner;
and daughter Janet (Hardwick) Price and son-in-law Lansing Price.  
Joe was a wonderful grandfather to Colleen, Angela, Charles, Jennifer, Lansing II, Grace, Claire and Eleanor; and great-grandfather to Katie Anne, Wyatt, Lansing III, and Caroline. 
Born in Somerset, Ky., he is also survived by siblings David Hardwick (Rosie) and Charles Hardwick (Sheilagh); brother-in-law Dillard Feltner; and many nieces and nephews.
