Somerset — Annetta Bodie

Annetta “Ann” Bodie, age 75, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.

She was born in Somerset on March 14, 1938 to the late Delbert Wyatt and Arizona Whitson Wyatt. Ann was married to the late Kenneth Bodie on Feb. 16, 1959. Ann was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church since 1954.

Ann is survived by a daughter-in-law, Amanda Taylor of Somerset; a brother-in-law, David Bodie of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers Varna and Lawrence Wyatt of Indianapolis, Ind.; sisters Leatha Mize and Kathy Hargis, both of Somerset; grandchildren Kirsten Bodie, Alissa Bodie and Blake Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Ann was also preceded in death by a son, Whitson Bodie; brother, Lee Wyatt; and sisters Reba Ulrey, Louella Mize and Geraldine Wyatt.

Visitation for Annetta “Ann” Bodie will be Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking and Crematory.

A graveside service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the Somerset Cemetery with Dr. Greg Ryan officiating.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Somerset Nursing and Rehab, 106 Gover St., Somerset, Ky., 42501.

Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory is in charge of all arrangements.

Mike Donaldson

James “Big Mike” Donaldson, 56, of Nineveh, Ind., passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.  

He was born in Indianapolis, Ind. on Sept. 19, 1957.

He is survived by his wife, Donna K. Hibbard Donaldson.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at Hoosier Harvest Church in Martinsville, Ind.  

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Mize Cemetery in Rockcastle County, Ky.

Burial will be in Mize Cemetery.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
