Juanita Bowlin
Juanita Bowlin, 71, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born in Somerset, Ky. on April 29, 1943, daughter of the late Delbert and Lora Baker Mounce. She was an attendant for the Kentucky Baptist Children's Home, a member of Freedom Worship Center and a member of Senior Friends.
She is survived by three sons, Jack Gregory of Somerset, Michael Currens of Somerset and Jeff Gregory of Nancy; one brother, Vernon B. Mounce of White Lily; two sisters, Margie Mounce of White Lily and Ruby Mounce of Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jeanetta Gregory; and three brothers, Jerry, Ivan and Norman Mounce. 
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Bialon officiating.
Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.
Visitation for Ms. Juanita Bowlin will be after 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Estill Day
Estill Day, 74, of Connersville, Ind. passed away peacefully Friday, June 27, 2014, at his residence, surrounded by his family. 
One of 19 children, he was born April 27, 1940 in Jeremiah, Ky., the son of Georgia Mae (Back-Hampton) and Lloyd Day; they preceded him in death. 
He graduated from Memorial High School, Waynesburg, Ky. in 1959. He worked briefly at government nuclear plants in Fernald, Ohio and Oak Ridge, Tenn. He enlisted in the US Air Force and was with the 305th Bomb Wing, serving from Jan. 29, 1962 to Jan. 28, 1968, attaining the rank of A2C E-3. He received training in electronics while in the Air Force. He was married on June 14, 1964 in Richmond, Ind. to Erma J Ridge; Mrs. Day survives.
