Kenneth Gentry,
Kenneth Gentry, 75, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.
Arrangements are pending and will be announced later by Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Michael J. Hensley
Michael J. Hensley, 57, of Science Hill, Ky., passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Ravenna, Ohio on September 19, 1956, son of Dolores Royer Kuss and the late Ervine Hensley.  
He is survived by his mother, Dolores Royer Kuss of Eubank; one son, Joey Hensley; two brothers, Gary (and Dawn) Hensley of Liberty and Al (and Joyce) Kuss of Diamond, Ohio; two sisters, Cheryl (and Randy) Warr of California and Catherine Kuss of Eubank; his fiancé, Wanda Roe of Science Hill; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ervine Hensley.
A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Butcher officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 p.m. Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to the Michael Hensley Memorial Fund.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Desta Baker Combs Neikirk 
Desta Baker Combs Neikirk, 69, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Somerset and Whitesburg, departed this life on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at her residence.
Desta was born on May 24, 1945, in Whitesburg, Ky., to the late William Garfield and Lula Collins Baker. 
She was the owner and operator of her own coal business throughout Eastern Kentucky.  Desta was a member of the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church in Thorton, Ky.  
She is survived by her son, Stevenson (and Lisa) Combs, of McKinney, Ky.; her two daughters, Janet (and Eddie) Hall, of Lexington, and Clashia (and Ronald) Black, of Somerset; a brother, Brice Baker, of Whitesburg; her sister, Artie Large, of Hammersville, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Jarrod Reardon, Talana Hughes, Siarra Combs, Tanner Combs, Hunter Combs, Celesta Hall, Joby Cook, Japeth Cook, Dwight Black, Victoria Black and Gabby Black; five great-grandchildren, Cameron Albright, Ashton McCandless, Cayden Cook, Caleb Cook and Darrin Hughes; and her first husband, John Combs, Jr., of Isom, Ky.
