Somerset —

Glenn Callahan
Glenn D. Callahan, 89, of Lockland, Ohio, formerly of the Grundy community, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014.
He was born in Somerset, Ky. on Feb. 12, 1925, son of the late John and Alta Randall Callahan. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Betty Sue (and Jim) Smith and Alta (and Mark) Ellis; six grandchildren, Jack, Glenna, Jason, Zach, Cody and Taylor; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. 
He is also survived by three brothers, James (and Doris) Callahan, Billy (and Edwina) Callahan and George (and June) Callahan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Yahnig Callahan, his parents, one brother, Irvin Callahan and sister-in-law, Effie Callahan.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Pollard officiating.
Burial will be in Rock Lick Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, Ohio 45263.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Betty Eastham
Betty Jo Eastham, age 63, of Somerset, Ky. passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. 
She was born on Jan. 6, 1951 in Somerset, Ky. to the late Johnny Bolin and Irene Stigall. Betty Jo was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. 
She was preceded in death by her parents. 
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Eastham of Somerset, Ky.; one son, Marcus Estes (Lakia Stout) of Somerset, Ky.; one daughter, Teresa (David) Estes Starks of Somerset, Ky.; three step-daughters, Jamia Dawn Woods of Georgetown, Ky., and Kim Taylor and Angie Taylor, both of Ohio; and three sisters, Kathy (Jimmy) Bowling of Somerset, Ky., Mary Smith of Somerset, Ky. and Marjorie Jones Calhoun of Somerset, Ky.
