Mr. Donald Gene "Don" Beeler, son of the late Charles and Sally Maude Lasley Beeler Adams, was born in Middlesboro, Ky., on Sunday, September 11, 1938 and he departed this life in Somerset, Ky., on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, having attained the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 18 days.
He was united in marriage to Mrs. Elizabeth Fultz Beeler; she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Troy (and Dianna) Beeler of Burnside, Ky., Roy (and Kathy) Beeler of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one brother, Eddie Lynn Adams; two sisters, Barbara Kist and Georgia Sue Martin all of Middlesboro, Ky.; six grandchildren, Jared, Travis, Trent, Tiffany and Kyle Beeler, and Whitney Hitzeman; and seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son who died in infancy, and one grandchild, Jodi Sterling.
Funeral services for Mr. Donald Gene "Don" Beeler will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Held officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum Chapel of Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Joe Russell Cash, 86, of Eubank, Ky., passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab.
He was born in Buncombe, Ky., on August 22, 1927, son of the late Jack and Winnie Jones Cash. He was a retired machinist for Ky. Frame & Lumber, a farmer, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Floyd Switch Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons, Harold (and Diana) Cash of Somerset, David (and Kera) Cash and Gerald (and Tammy) Cash, both of Eubank; three sisters, Edna
Blevins of Eubank, Alberta (and Richard) Lowe of Campbellsville, and Nannie
Marie (and Don) Dick of Acton, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Scott (and Shelly) Cash, Elizabeth (and Brady) Anderson, Ryan (and Rebecca) Cash, Shawnte (and Eric)
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eudena Sowder Cash, whom he married on January 7, 1951 and who died on March 21, 2000; his parents; a granddaughter, Meganne Cash; three brothers, Ernest "Pete" Cash, Raymond Cash, Louie Cash, and two infant brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Morris
& Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Lowe officiating.

John Arnold Givens, age 83, of Eubank, Ky., departed this life on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
John was born on December 10, 1930, in Chicago, Ill. to the late Alvy and Hermine "Helen" Givens. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country during the Korean War. He married Judith Pasowicz in Chicago, Ill. on May 21, 1960. He was a driver for Enterprise Rental Company. John was a member of the V.F.W., the D.A.V. and the American Legion. He was a member of the Catholic faith, attending St. Mildred's Church of Somerset.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; his brother, Robert Givens, of Belvidere, Ill.; his sister, Lorraine Garabedian, of Friant, Calif.; three grandchildren, Rachel Lyle, of Canby, Ore., Michelle (and Joey) Terry, of Eubank, Ky., and Jessica Shaw, of Centralia, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Troy Terry, of Eubank, Ky., Zachary Terry, of Eubank, Ky. and Makenzi Craven, of Centralia, Mo.
Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Shaw, who passed away on December 21, 2009; his sister, Violet Babuick; and his brother, Frankie Givens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
A Rosary Service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Father Jeffrey Estacio will officiate the service. Full military honors will be performed by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
Interment will be in the St. Catherine's Cemetery, in Genoa, Ill., at a later date.
The family requests no flowers, please, but expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and to the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans).

Jeffery Ray Meece, the son of Bernita Mounce Meece and the late James A. Meece, was born on Thursday, May 4, 1961, and he departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Somerset, Ky., having attained the age of 52 years, 8 months and 25 days.
Other than his mother, he is survived by one brother, Tony Keith Meece; four sisters, Barbara Bullock, Sandy (and Rex) Stevens, Teresa (and Doug) Muse, and Angie (and Neal Jackson. He is also survived by the following nieces and nephews, Dustin Meece, Jessica Roberts, Amy (and Joel) Kefe, Natasha (and Sam) Hall, Chasity (and Kenny) Rollins, Christopher (and Billie) Muse and Ryan (and Renee) Muse and the following great nieces and nephews, Spencer and Sophia Rollins, Abilene, Maggie, and Parker James Muse; a special friend, Jimmy Watson; a special dog, Junior; and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Other than his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert James Meece, and a nephew by marriage, Brian Roberts.
Jeffery was a kind person and he adhered to the Baptist faith. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Russell E. "Rusty" Surface, 58, of Franklin, Ind., passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014.
He was born on July 19, 1955 in Franklin, Ind., son of Russell A. and Corene Dewbrew Surface. He retired from Amtrak after 30 years of service and was a 1973 Center Grove Graduate. He was an outdoors man at heart, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding ATV's and tinkering with cars.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicky L. Hibbard Surface; one daughter, Jessica Surface; one grandson, Justin; his parents, Russell A. and Corene (Dewbrew) Surface; two sisters, Cathy Loy and Tammy Surface; two nephews and two great nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, Friday, January 31, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service at G.H. Hermann in Indianapolis, Ind.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Russell "Rusty" Surface at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Mize Cemetery in Rockcastle County, Ky.
