Norma Leveridge
Norma Jean Leveridge, 83 years and 2 days, of Somerset, Ky., retired manager for the Show Place Cinemas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Somerset, Ky. 
Burial to follow in the Methodist Cemetery in Whitley City. 
The family will receive friends Thursday after 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. 
She was born Feb. 2, 1931 in Somerset, Ky. to Vela (Leveridge) Spradlin. Norma was of the Methodist faith. She worked many years as the manager of Virginia Cinemas and later as the manager for Show Place Cinemas in the mall. 
Preceding her in death is her mother. 
She is survived by her cousins, Don Stricklin and wife, Sybil, Becky Davis and husband, Larry, and Nancy Leveridge; and special friends, Joan and Larry Garner, and Jit and Sue Stogsdill.

Buddy Meece
Buddy Gene Meece, age 81, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at Hospice of Hamilton. 
He was born April 22, 1932 in Somerset, Ky., the son of the late James W. and Lucinda Meece. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and married Janis Lou Bedford in 1954. Buddy was employed as a truck driver for Henke's Express, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly, and was a devoted Christian who served the Lord for over 50 years. He loved the Cincinnati Reds and was always joking with people. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.   
He is survived by his wife, Janis; three daughters, Kimberly (Allen) Blundell of Trenton, Ohio, Jennifer Slaven of Hamilton, Ohio, and Rachael (William) Whitt of Hamilton, Ohio; a sister, Betty Harris of Somerset, Ky.; grandchildren, Matthew Blundell, Sarah Blundell, Adam (Emily) Blundell, Joshua Slaven, Jacob Slaven, Gabrielle Whitt and Noah Whitt, and Aimee Morley, who he always thought of as his granddaughter; and great-grandchildren, Kylee Blundell, Ava Blundell, Christian Blundell and Aaron Blundell.
