Mildred Delk
Mildred Delk, age 80 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970
Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio, 45432. 
Services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday. 
Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, Ohio.

Monta Eldridge
Monta Marie “Granny” El-dridge, age 100 years & 293 days, passed away peacefully on Sat-urday, Feb. 8, 2014.  
She was born in Pulaski County, Ky. on April 21, 1913, daughter of the late George and Priscilla (Barbour) Allen. Monta was a wonderful homemaker and a great cook. She enjoyed working in the yard, bird watching, and she was an excellent babysitter.  
She is survived by her daughters, Cloda Baird of New Lebanon, Ohio and Geraldine Mutzner of Richmond, Ind.; daughter-in-law Phyllis Eldridge of Dayton, Ohio; loving granddaughters, Sharon and Ed Petry of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Debbie and Darrin Heinz of Waynesville, Ohio; special great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Rachel Heinz of Waynesville, Ohio; and numerous other grandchildren, nieces and nephews, which certainly include Glenda Tilley and Ottie New, and many more friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert “Nick” Eldridge; her parents; four sisters, Margaret Vaught, Cloda Adams, Lelia Ware and Helen New; three brothers, John Allen, Kenneth Allen and Sammie Allen; one daughter, Priscilla Jean, who died in infancy; three stepsons; and a son-in-law, Lloyd Baird.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 W. Main. St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. 
Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. today, Thursday at Rogers Funeral Home.

Billie Harmon
Billie Carol Harmon, age 80, of Burnside, Ky., passed away on Saturday Feb. 8, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. 
She was born on Nov. 11, 1933 in Halls Gap, Tenn. to the late William and Esta Phelps Dupes. Billie was a retired registered nurse and of the Baptist faith. 
She enjoyed fishing, feeding and watching birds and squirrels, and shopping. She was a nature lover and she enjoyed her four babies, which were her dogs. 
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack Wendell Harmon. 
She is survived by special friends and caregivers, Mary Middleton of Burnside, Ky., Jennie Honeycutt of Hamilton, Ohio, Dewayne and Frances Elmore of Burnside, Ky., Cody Elmore of Burnside, Ky., Jason and Jennifer Lyles and John and Rebecca Lyles of Burnside, Ky., Melissa Lyles, Rickie and April Middleton, Michael and Tracie Lyles, and Travis Smith; and several that were like grandchildren to her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 after 5 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Sprouse officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery in McCreary County, Ky.

Raymond Keltner
Raymond Keltner, age 98 years of the Sano Road community,
Columbia, Ky., passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at 11:38 p.m. at Veterans Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
He was born on May 15, 1915  in Gradyville, Ky. He was the son of the late Phillip Hayden and Amanda Bell Bragg Keltner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Turner Keltner on July 28, 2003; a grandson, Mark Keltner; and 11 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by three sons, Rayburn Keltner and his wife Debbie of Science Hill, Ky., Dennis Keltner and his wife Rita of Campbellsville, Ky., and George Hayden Keltner and his wife Linda of Vacaville, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Brad Keltner, Brandon Keltner, Lisa Rowlett, Anita Proffitt, John Keltner, Rachel Moats, Jason Keltner, and Timothy Keltner; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a retired farmer, and he was a World War II veteran who served in the U. S. Army and participated in the battles of Philippine Liberation and Luzon New Guinea. He was a member of Gradyville United Methodist Church.
Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. with Rev. David Kemp and Bro. Herbert Janes officiating.
Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery with full military honors by local VFW Post 6097.
Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers are Brad Keltner, Brandon Keltner, Johnny Keltner, Hunter Keltner, Larry Proffitt and Jeremy Moats.

Edward Littrell
Edward “Roger” Littrell, 65, died Sunday, Feb. 9 after a short illness. 
He is survived by his daughter, Nicolle Hazelip and son-in-law Jonathan Hazelip of Aurora, Ill.; sister, Sarah Harvill and brother-in-law Bill Seiling of Germanton, N.C.; brother, David Littrell and sister-in-law Peggy Littrell of Union, Ky.; and seven nephews. 
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Foster Littrell and Allie Dean Rogers Littrell, formerly of Somerset, Ky. 
Roger lived on his farm in Richburg, S.C. and raised Alpacas for the last 15 years.
Previous to that he had been head of circulation of the Palm Beach Post Newspaper and participated in several private businesses. 
He was born In Louisville, Ky. in 1948. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. 
A small service attended by the family was held on Feb. 10 in Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to Levine & Dickson Hospice of Charlotte, N.C., or the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
 
Paul Loveless
Paul Edward Loveless, 75, of Somerset, Ky. passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Jolene McGowan
Jolene “Puggy” McGowan, age 70, of Somerset, departed this life on Feb. 11, 2014 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset. 
Jolene was born on May 30, 1943 in Somerset to the late Joe Willie and Lillie Francis Adkins. She was the wife of the late James “Gene” McGowan, who preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2013. 
They were united in marriage on July 12, 1965 in Jamestown, Tenn. They had three children from their union. Jolene was an employee of Waitsboro Inn in Somerset. She was a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her sons, James McGowan, Jr., Chester (and Kim) McGowan, Martin (and Tina) McGowan, and Wayne Spears, who she loved as her own son; three of her brothers, Bobby (and Brenda) Adkins, Jeffrey Adkins and Eddie Ray Adkins; three grandchildren, Ryan McGowan, Kendra (and Jeremiah) McGowan Honaker, and Joshua McGowan; four great-grandchildren, Nehemiah Honaker, Byron Honaker, Ashton Hunt and Baylee Rose Triplett; and other special family members, Ashley Rice, Holly Wilson, Fury Sidwell and Cooper Patterson.
Jolene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene; six of her brothers, William Adkins, Johnny Earl Adkins, Roy Adkins, Joe Melvin Adkins, Charles Adkins and Thomas Eugene Adkins; two sisters, Dorothy Mae Adkins and Martha M. Adkins; and three sisters-in-law, Norma Adkins, Doris Adkins and Ruth Ann Adkins.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at 5 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. 
Jolene's funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at 12 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Bro. James Mills officiating. 
Interment will be in Sunshine Cemetery, in Russell Springs, Ky.

Betty McKinney
Betty McKinney, 65, of Science Hill, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in King Bee, Ky. on March 7, 1948, daughter of the late Hoy and Hazel Warren Mofield. She was a housekeeper for 36 years and 33 years for the Science Hill Post Office. She attended West Science Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Brittany McKin-ney and Keshia McKinney; and a great-grandson, Kaiden Allen Ellis. 
She is also survived by two brothers, Roy (and Donna) Mofield of Eubank and Coy (and Betty Sue) Mofield of Science Hill; one sister, Flonnie (and Eddie) Dye of Nancy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Allen McKinney; and special companion, Don Robinson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. T.J. Godby officiating.
Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Edith Rose
Mrs. Edith Rose, age 91 of Kokomo, Ind., formerly of Somerset, Ky., passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 in Kokomo. 
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Vestal Meece officiating. 
Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery.  
The family of Mrs. Edith Rose will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Saturday until time for services.
