Vivian Bolton

Vivian Bolton, 89, a lifelong resident of the Mt. Victory Community, passed away peacefully in the presence of her beloved family on Sunday afternoon.  
She was born at Bird (Pulaski County), Ky., on October 26, 1923 a daughter of the late Robert L. and Durlie Garrison Bolton.   
Vivian is survived by her daughter Judy (Jim) Avera also of the Mt. Victory community; two brothers, Bob (Betty) Bolton of Mt. Victory and Charles Bolton of Louisiana; two grandchildren, Tammy (and Jimmy) Pratt and Greg (and Melissa) Avera, both of Mt. Victory; three great grandchildren, Cody Pratt, Tyler and Brittany Avera; a host of many friends and relatives.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Dana, Kermit, Earl “Buck”, Clemont, James, Selton and Gerald Bolton; five sisters, Edith, Orphie, Madelyn Bolton, Althene Bolton Flanigan,   Christine Bolton Starnes. Vivian was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Jesse Lee Pratt.  She enjoyed visiting her family, friends and the shut-ins. She loved the outdoors and her flower   garden.
Visitation for Vivian Bolton will be today after 6 p.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory.  
Funeral services for Vivian Bolton will be held Friday June 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. also at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory with Rev. Dalous Sears and Major Leon Nolan.  
Burial will  follow in the Garrison Family Cemetery at Mt. Victory. 
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
