Cheryl Arlaud

Mrs. Cheryl A. Arlaud, age 68, of Nancy, Ky., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset, Ky. after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Geneva Smiley of Cambridge City, Ind.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry G. Arlaud, who she married on July 7, 1962 in Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Stacey Ping of Eubank, Ky. and Shana Warui of Greenwood, Ind.; a brother, James N. Smiley of Cambridge City, Ind.; four grandchildren, Chad Moeller of Indianapolis, Ind., Brandon McIntosh of Seymour, Ind., Justin Simpson of Indianapolis, Ind., Tara Simpson of Greenwood, Ind.; and seven great-grandchildren, Mylee, Faith, Aiden, Jacob, Layla, Caleb, and Macey.
Cheryl was employed at Computer Software Systems in Indianapolis for 26 years. She was a very family-oriented person who loved spending time with her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always looked forward to and enjoyed the fall season.
There will be a visitation for Cheryl Arlaud to receive family and friends on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at 5 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home
Funeral services will be on Aug. 3, 2013 at 7 p.m. with Pastor David A. Green officiating in the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
