Sharon Holt

Somerset —  

Sharon Lynn Silvers Holt, age 54 of Somerset, departed this life on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at her home.
Born on June 28, 1958 in Somerset, Ky., she was a daughter of George Earl Silvers and the late Bernadean Brinson Walker. Ms. Holt was a sales manager at K-Mart and also worked at East Kentucky Power Co-op. She loved gospel music and her son, Justin. Ms. Holt was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son, Justin Tyler Hail (and Amanda, his significant other) of Somerset; her father, George Earl Silvers of San Bernardino, Calif.; two grandchildren, Bodhi and Trinity Hail; three sisters, Sheila Silvers of Somerset, Tammy (and Rick) Linville of Somerset, and Dakota Michelle (and Tony) Meece of Somerset; three brothers, Bobby Stephens of Somerset, Dennis Silvers of Somerset, and Sammy (and Teresa) Silvers of Burnside, Ky.; three aunts, Carolyn (and Gerald) Ping of Somerset, Alfreda (and Gene) Stevenson of Somerset, and Alta (and Bobby) Tomlinson of Somerset; 22 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert Walker; a sister, Janie Stephens; her grandmother, Fannie Glover McGowan; an uncle, Buddy VanHook; and a great-nephew, Tristan Everhart.
Visitation for Ms. Holt will be Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock and Bro. Gary Haste officiating. 
Burial will be in the Piney Grove #1 Cemetery in Somerset.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Piney Grove #1 Cemetery Fund.
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Sharon Lynn Silvers Holt.
