Somerset — Odra Moore

Odra Wooton Moore, 93, of Science Hill, Ky., passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013.

Arrangements are pending and will be announced later by Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Timothy Mounce

Timothy L. Mounce, 54, of Brownsburg, Ind., formerly of Somerset, Ky., departed this life on December 24, 2013 in Indiana.

Timothy's funeral service will be Monday, December 30, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Flanner Buchanan Speedway Funeral Home in Indianapolis, Ind.

Oveline Sumner

Mrs. Oveline Sumner, 85, of Somerset, Ky., daughter of the late Piercy and Mable Ballenger Waddle, was born in Alcalde, Ky., on October 11, 1928 and departed this life on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.

Oveline was united in marriage to Willie “Bill” Sumner on April 24, 1948; he survives.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Haynes.

She is survived by two sisters, Barbara Hall of Somerset and Ora “Tooter” Higginbotham of Somerset; two nephews, Brad (and Missy) Hall of Somerset and Joey (and Donna) Hall of Somerset; one niece, Julie (and Lee) Taylor of Castle Rock, Colorado; three great-nephews, Aaron Hall, Riley Hall, and Ben

Taylor; one great-niece, Chelsea Taylor and a host of relatives and friends who all mourn her passing.

Oveline was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church in Somerset, Ky. She enjoyed animals, spending time with her cats, children, and baking.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Stacey and Bro. Jason Moore officiating.  

Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family of Mrs. Oveline Sumner will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2013 after 6 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.

Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
