Imogene Dick

Somerset — Imogene Dick, 77, of the Beech Grove community of Pulaski County, Ky., departed this life on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at her home.

She was born on March 31, 1933, in Pulaski County, the daughter of Joe and Bertha Wallace Dick. She was a retired caregiver for Oakwood and a member of the Beech Grove United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Dick is survived by two sons, Roy Glenn (and Bertha) Dick of Science Hill, Ky., and Bobby (and Allie) Dick of Science Hill; three brothers, James Dick of Somerset, Ky., Billy (and Nancy) Dick of Science Hill, and Boyd (and Carolyn) Dick of Somerset, Ky.; three sisters, Kathleen Dick of Science Hill, Irene Spaw of Greenwood, Ind., and Edna Godsey of Science Hill; her grandchildren, Melissa Dick Aton, April Dick Simpson, Tina Dick Adams, Greg Dick, and Sherry Davis; her great grandchildren, Jakob and McKena Aton, Emily and Elijah Simpson, Nate and Gabe Dick, Devin and Nevean Harris, Zoey Davis, Diandre, Bianca, and Demitrius Britt, and Donae Adams; several nieces and nephews; seven step grandchildren; 17 step great grandchildren; and two step great-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Gary Richard Dick; and two sisters, Pauline Dick and Christine Baugh.

Visitation will be today, Friday, July 16, from 6-9 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home and then from noon -2 p.m. Saturday at the Beech Grove United Methodist Church until time for service.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 17, at the Beech Grove United Methodist Church with Bro. Rodney Corder officiating.

Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery.
