Johnnie Perkins

Johnnie Lee Perkins, 74, of Nancy, Ky. passed away Tuesday July 2, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. 
He was born June 26, 1939 in Nancy, Ky. Son of the late Wiley Brent and Gracie Harness Perkins. 
He was of the Baptist faith and a retired Tool and Die Maker. He enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family. 
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Larry Perkins; and a sister Polly Burnes. 
He is survived by his wife, Janice Fox Perkins, whom he married on November 15, 1958 in Bethelridge, Ky.; a son, Johnnie Jr. (and Marilyn) Perkins of Liberty, Ky.Daughters, Patsy Ann Bradbury of Sharonville, Ohio and Beverly Sue (and Randy) Covert of Nancy, Ky.; a brother, Luther (Marsha) Perkins and a sister, Peggy (and Richard) Johnson, all of Nancy, Ky.; a grandchild, Johnathan Covert. 
Visitation will be held todayafter 6 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Funeral Services will be held Friday July 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Harris officiating. 
Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens Cemetery. 
Southern Oaks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
