Delmer Turner

Delmer Turner, age 83 of Somerset, Ky., departed this life on Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.  
He was born on Nov. 3, 1929 in Ano, Ky. to the late Everett and Anna Arthur Turner. He had formerly worked as a truck driver for Southside Ready Mix in Southport, Ind. Mr. Turner was a member of Clifty Grove Baptist Church.  
He is survived by three sons, Tommy (and Donna) Turner of Ano, Ky., Dennis Turner of Somerset, Ky. and Doug (and Sara) Turner of Science Hill, Ky.; a daughter, Peggy (and Everett) Hyden of Mt. Victory, Ky.; six grandchildren, Steven and Scottie Hyden, Chris, Luke and Brent Turner and Nicole Blevins; nine great-grandchildren, Ethan, Gage, Blake, Allie, Addison, Landon, Kailey, Easton and Alexander; and four brothers, Buren, John Norris, Vola and Clell Turner.  
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Turner; a granddaughter, Nancy Gail Hyden; a great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Turner; as well as the mother of his children, Delpha Chaney Turner.  
His visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, 2013 after 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, Ky. 
His funeral service will be Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Dwight Bullock and Brother Rick Lawson officiating.  
Burial will be in the Chaney Cemetery in Ano, Ky.
