Somerset — Larry Grundy

Larry E. Grundy, age 57, of Parkers Mill Road, Somerset, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Visitation for Larry E. Grundy will be Tuesday, April 15 after 11 a.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 15 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kathy Sedwick

Mrs. Kathy E. Sedwick, age 61, daughter of Kathryn (Lequire) Coughenour (and stepfather Robert Coughenour) and the late Harold Hylton, was born on Feb. 23, 1953 in Neon, Ky. and she departed this life on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her residence in the presence of her family.

Other than her father she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shelly and Della Lequire; and one brother, Harold Hylton Sr.

Kathy is survived by her mother; her loving husband, Tommy Sedwick; two daughters, Heather Mutscheller and Jennifer Sedwick; two sisters, Beverly Comegys and Lisa Cunningham; one son-in-law, Tim Mutscheller; and the light of her life, her granddaughter, Chelsea Sedwick.

Kathy was of the Baptist faith and retired from owning her own real estate company. She was also a phlebotomist at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Kathy loved genealogy, reading, baking, Godiva chocolate, and she was a huge fan of Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

The family of Mrs. Sedwick will receive friends on Monday, April 14, 2014 after 10 a.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home.

Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Kathy E. Sedwick.

Wildon Trimble

Wildon "Blackie" Trimble, son of the late Veston and Pearl Buchanan Trimble, was born at Norfleet, Ky. on Sept. 22, 1931 and he departed this life on Friday, April 11, 2014 having attained the age of 82 years.

He was united in marriage to Mary Lois Wood Trimble on July 25, 1959 in Nancy, Ky., and she survives.

Other survivors include one son, Marty (and Beth) Trimble of Richmond, Ky.; one daughter, Amy (and Doug) Wolke of Somerset, Ky.; six grandchildren, Benjamin and William Trimble, and Holly, Andrew, Brooklyn, and Chandler Wolke; and five sisters, Alene Burkett, Irene (and Carroll) Jasper, Elizabeth Norfleet, Bernice (and Ernie) Maples and Maretta (and Lowell) Tarter.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Winfred Trimble and Nathan Trimble; and one sister, Daphene Simpson.

Mr. Trimble was a farmer, and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He loved his church and was an active member there. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by those who knew him, and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Caldwell and Bro. Bill Meece officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Wildon "Blackie" Trimble will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2014 and at the funeral home prior to services on Tuesday, April 14, 2014.

Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Wildon "Blackie" Trimble.
