Somerset — Johnny Speck

Johnny Keith Speck, age 64, of Somerset, Ky., and a native of Albany, Ky., died Monday, May 5, 2014 in Corbin, Ky.

He was the son of the late Keith and Melba Speck, and he was a member of Albany First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Nunn Speck of Somerset; a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Enrique Nazario of Somerset; a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Heather Speck of Ft. Knox, Ky.; one sister, Rita Johnson of Nancy; three brothers, Jerry Speck of Winchester, Ky., Dale Speck of Albany, Ky., and Greg Speck of Somerset; three grandchildren, Zoe Stinson, Zane Stinson, and Gunner Speck; and one step-grandchild, Alexandra Nazario.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Albany First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Hill Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home, 1106 N. Cross St., Albany, Ky.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Albany First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Talbott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
