Dallas Doyle Hammond, 68, of Burnside passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Mr. Hammond was born on December 16, 1945 in Wayne County to the late Owen and Bessie Gibson Hammond.
He was united in marriage to Inna Andreyeva Hammond on May 27, 1999; she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Anthony Hammond of Bronston, Ky., and Daniel Lykins of Fairborn, Ohio; and daughters Holly Hammond of Fairborn, Ohio, Pamela Hammond of Somerset, Ky., and Lily Orloff of Ontario, Canada. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory three grandchildren.
Mr. Hammond was preceded in death by his parents Owen and Bessie Gibson Hammond, and one brother, Gary Hammond.
Dallas had a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University. Dallas enjoyed hunting
arrowheads, history, geography, fishing and camping but most of all he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Dixie Bend United Baptist Church of Burnside, Ky., where he attended faithfully up until his death.
Visitation for Mr. Hammond will be Sunday May 11, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3 P.M. with Bro. Mike Hammond officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bronston Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request that expressions of sympathy be made to the Dixie Bend united Baptist Church fund.

Roy “Nokie” Noah Hill
Roy passed away May 9, 2014 at his residence in Tateville, Ky., at the age of 81. He was born in Dixie Bend, Kentucky on December 23, 1932 to Abb and Elsie Lowery Hill.
He was a member of Grave Hill Baptist Church and retired from Cooper Power Plant in Burnside. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren along with hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Haynes Hill, whom he married January 28, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio. He is also survived by two sons, Mike (and Lee) Hill of Burnside and Jimmy Hill of Tateville; daughters, Patricia (and Lee) Murphy of White Lily, and Becky (and Billy) Bell of Somerset; 11 grandchildren, Mike Hill Jr., Ashlee Hill, Jessica Furnish, Dusty Murphy, Jimmy Hill Jr., Timothy Hill, Jason Hill, Crystal Whiles, Jerry Wayne Reynolds, Billy Joe Bell, and Zachary Bell, and several great grandchildren; and sister Bertha Phillips.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Abb and Elsie Hill; one dauther, Kathy Reynolds; granddaughter Danielle Reynolds; six brothers, Gilbert, Johnny, CL, Hobert Abb Jr., and Arnold; and four sisters, Laury Roberts, Lena Haynes, Carolyn Hill, and Isabelle Hill.
Visitation for Mr. Hill will be Monday May 12, 2014 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday May 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Bro. Darry Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in the Sloans Valley Cemetery.

Ronald Phelps, 70, of the Barnesburg Community passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
Visitation for Mr. Phelps will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 beginning at 1 a.m. Service will follow at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
