Tonnie Singleton


Tonnie Singleton, 90, of Kings Mt., Ky., passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Stanford, Ky.
She was born in Woodstock, Ky. on July 19, 1922, daughter of the late John and Eva Griffin Anderson.  She was a homemaker and a farmer.
She is survived by two sons, Rocky (and Sandy) Singleton of Waynesburg and Roger Singleton of Kings Mt.; one daughter, Janet (and Herbie) Naegele of Hardinsburg, Ky.; one brother, Luther Anderson and one sister, Nellie Barron, both of Clayton, Ind.; four grandchildren, Robert, Anita, Angelique and Audranna; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Singleton; her parents; five brothers, Marshall, Virgil, Chester, Charlie and Shelva Anderson; and three sisters, Lula Anderson, Laura Petrey and Leddie Littrell.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Shepherd officiating.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
