Virginia Fantozzi

Virginia Faith Jackson Fantozzi, native of Somerset, Ky., died peacefully in the Chicagoland area at the age of 93 on May 8, 2013.
Born July 3rd, 1919 to William Green Jackson and Ella Anna Sears Jackson. Known to many as Teddy, she was the youngest of eight siblings and last to be joined in death with her brothers and sisters, Ivan, Irene, Hazel, Rex, Faye, Raphaelle and Elwyn.
Virginia attended Somerset High School where she graduated with the class of 1937 and went on to receive a Bachelor Degree in science from Fresno State University in California, thence to attend Western Michigan University at Kalamazoo where she earned her degree in occupational therapy. Her remains will be carried to the mountains of East Tennessee and rest with those of her late, beloved husband of sixty years, Vincent J. Fantozzi.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends, and most especially by her dear sister-in-law, Geneva Phelps Jackson, and her son, John.
