Robert Sroufe, Jr.

Somerset — Robert L. Sroufe Jr., age 51, of Somerset, Ky. passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in his home.

He was born Oct. 3, 1961 in Somerset, Ky. He was a beloved husband and father, musician, and actor, and he loved fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Davis Sroufe; his father, Robert Sroufe, Sr., and stepmother, Georgia Sroufe of Somerset, Ky.; his mother, Ola Mae Dykes Hall and her life partner, Ambrose Hall; two daughters, Jessica and Jenessa Sroufe, both of Somerset, Ky.; grandchildren, Blade, Shadrick, Jerick and Levi; aunts, Melissa (Todd) Mitchell and Brenda (Ernest) Warren of Somerset, Ky.; uncles, Elwin (Janet) Brinson and Sammy Brinson, all of Somerset, Ky.; step-sister, Sheila Sumner and step-brother, Jarrod (Rebecca) Sumner, and step-nephew, Jase Sumner of Somerset, Ky.; his step-sons, Sean (Ray) Davis of Lexington, Ky., Brandon McClure, Andrew McClure and Samuel Picard, all of Somerset, Ky.; his mother and father-in-law, Ronald L. and Carmen Davis of Whitley City, Ky.; brothers-in-law, Anthony (Becky) Davis of Nashville, Tenn. and Ronald L. Davis, Jr. of Charlottesville, Va.; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Michael) D'Souza and their son Nathan of Lexington, Ky.; and many friends.

Robert will be missed.

At the family's request there will be a private service.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that forms of donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home will handle any arrangements.
