Beatrice Hess
Beatrice Ebbie Dagnan Hess, 89, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Saturday,
May 31, 2014.
She was born on February 24, 1925 in Soddy Daisy, Tenn. She was the daughter
of the late Reverend Roy Dagnan and Hattie Clayton Dagnan.
She is survived by one son, Mark (and Valerie) Hess of Eubank; three daughters, Marina Webster of New Mexico, Marlene (and Denver) McKinney and
Melissa (and Glenn Ray) Smith, both of Eubank; one sister, Bivian Craig of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Lee Hess; one son, Michael Leon Hess; one granddaughter, Maria Angeline Webster; one son-in-law, John Webster; five brothers, Jewel, Charles Evan, Abe Dennis, Roy Dubois and John Darius Dagnan; and one sister, Barbara Shipley.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Hess officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation for Ms. Beatrice Ebbie Dagnan Hess will be after 12 noon today at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ramiro Vasquez "Marty" Martinez, 91, of Waynesburg, passed away May 31, 2014.  
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.  
The visitation will be held 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday.  
Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home in charge.
Jackie McQueen
Jackie McQueen, 73. of Somerset passed away on Sunday June 1, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. 
He was born on May 8, 1941 in Somerset, Ky., to the late Jim and Ella Mattox McQueen. 
Jackie was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. He was a retired gas technician for the City of Somerset and enjoyed fishing, walking, arrowheads, collecting knives, model airplanes and loved his church.
