Terry Lamar Adams, 65, lately of Louisville, Ky., passed away on June 27, 2014.
Terry, a long-time resident of Burnside, Ky. until his early retirement due to illness in 2008, was a employee of Oakwood in Somerset for 25 years.
His late wife, Paula Adams, was a special education teacher in the Pulaski County School System.
He was born May 12, 1949 in White County, Ill. and relocated with his parents, Lamar and Patsy Adams, to Tripoli, Libya where his father was employed by Oasis Oil Company. Upon graduation in 1967 from Wheelus American High School in Tripoli, Libya he returned to the states to attend the University of Kentucky and eventually marry, live, work and raise his family in Pulaski County.
He is survived by two sons, Lamont and Lamar; a grandson, Michael; a sister, Carol McConahy; two nephews, Wade and Lane Mitchell; a great-niece, Aidan Mitchell; and a host of friends and loved ones.
A private memorial will be held on July 8, 2014 in Louisville, Ky.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation in his name to the United Way Fund.
He was much loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Deborah Bowling, 43, of Eubank, Ky., passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Corbin Regional Baptist Hospital.
She was born in Danville, Ky., on Jan. 30, 1971, daughter of Gloria Geraldine Rice Edwards and the late Clifford Rutherford. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Independent.
She is survived by her mother, Gloria Geraldine Rice Edwards of Eubank; two sons, Mason Bowling of Brodheard, Ky., and Brandon Bowling (and Chelsea Wadsworth) of Eubank; two brothers, Vertrees Brown of Science Hill and Roy Bruce (and Angie) Edwards of Somerset; two sisters, Jeannie Abbott of Russell Springs, Ky., and Donna (and Tim) Milburn of Mt. Vernon, Ky.; three grandchildren, Mollie Bowling, Ethan Bowling and Landen Bowling; special friend, Lee Corner of Eubank; aunts and uncles, Don Rice, Andy Rice, Leroy Rice, Charlie Rice and Darlene Davis; and several cousins.
