Adria Bradshaw


Adria Bradshaw, age 79, passed away March 18, 2013 while surrounded by his loved ones.  
He was born to the late Clarence and Crella Hopper Bradshaw on Dec. 10, 1933 in Russell Springs, Ky. Mr. Bradshaw was a master machinist, professional mechanic, loved writing poetry and painting landscapes and enjoyed studying and reading his Bible. He was a member of Cumberland Church of Christ. 
Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Faye Wall Bradshaw; and nine children: Four sons, Ronald (Pauline) Bradshaw of Stanford, Ky., Thomas (Janet) Bradshaw, Robert (Becky) Bradshaw of Science Hill, Ky., and Richard Bradshaw of Somerset, Ky., and five daughters, Teresa Bradshaw Proudfoot, Janice (Charles "Bobby") Surber of Eubank, Ky., Deborah (Boyd) Easterly, Regina Bradshaw, and Tammie (Mike) Tilley of Science Hill, Ky. 
Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Jason (Katie) Bradshaw, Brent Bradshaw, Steven Gibson, Tony Gibson, Shannon (Cherel) Gibson, Martin (Stephanie) Easterly, Christopher Easterly, Allison Tilley, Laci Bradshaw, Dylan Bradshaw, Blake Bradshaw, Madison Brown, Mackenzie Bickford, and Mason Stout; and four great-grandchildren, Brennon Gibson, Chase Easterly, Madison Bradshaw and Mason Bradshaw. 
Also surviving are one brother, Ottis (Barb) Bradshaw; several sisters-in-law, Barbara Bradshaw, Dorothy Bradshaw, Darlene Young, Marlene (John) Hammond, Helen Wall; and one brother-in-law, Thomas (Shirley) Wall.  
Mr. Bradshaw also has many loving nieces, nephews and many dear friends. 
Preceding him in death were his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dee Ray and Hettie Wall; brothers, Franklin, who died in infancy, and Ray, Arvin and Carl Bradshaw; sisters, Beatrice Wilson and Edith Coffey; one granddaughter Wendy Gail Bradshaw; and one great-grandson, Bentley William Easterly. 
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 with Bro. Ed Bialon and Bro. Tom Bradshaw officiating at the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Burial will be in the Etna Cemetery. 
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
