Dorothy DeCross

Somerset —  

Dorothy M. DeCross, age 81, of South Toms River, N.J., passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. 
Born in Staten Island, N.Y. on Feb. 9, 1931, she lived in Somerset, Ky. and she worked at Oakwood. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She also lived in Perth Amboy before moving to South Toms River in 1983. Dorothy was the owner and proprietor of Alpine Florist in Perth Amboy. She also worked for Adelphia Cable in Toms River. She was a member of the Beachwood Senior Citizens Center. 
Surviving are her sons, Daniel and his wife Barbara of South Toms River, David and his wife Judy of Somerset, Ky., and Douglas and his wife Maureen of Rochester, N.Y. 
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Danny, Deborah, Matthew, Justin, Zachary, Brandon and Kenton. 
A memorial service for Mrs. DeCross was held Saturday, Oct. 27.
