Elizabeth Fritts

Somerset — Elizabeth VanArsdall “Van“ Fritts, of Frankfort, Ky., formerly of Somerset, was born on Aug. 8, 1938 and passed from this life on July 25, 2013.  

Van was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Ruby Fritts; her brother, John Fritts; and one sister and brother-in-law, Eugenia (and Bob) Ramsey.

Van is survived by her three daughters, Jennie Van Happe (and Chris Phipps), of Dayton, Ohio, Susie (and Tom) Bell of Midway, Ky., and Elizabeth (and Jim) Barrett of Richmond, Ky.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her two sisters, Mary (and Dudley) Connelly of Fla. and Susan Franklin of Lawrenceburg, Ky., as well as eight nephews and one niece.

A memorial service in honor of Van’s life will be held Saturday, Aug. 17 at 4 p.m. at Bridgeport Christian Church, located at 175 Evergreen Road, Frankfort, Ky.

The family will receive guests beginning at 3 p.m.
