Homer Hall

Somerset — Homer Hall, age 63, of Eubank, Ky. passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at his residence.

He was born Oct. 12, 1949 in the Bethelridge Community to the late Oren and Louisa Moore Hall.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising chickens, the outdoors, people, knife collecting, farming and carpentry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Norman Gibson; three brothers, Walter, David and Johnie Hall; and four sisters, Lisa, Lavinnie, Barbara and Jenny Hall.

He is survived by his wife Margie Solomon Hall, whom he married March 30, 1974 in Bronston, Ky.; two daughters, Tracie (Ray) Holder of Eubank, Ky. and Debbie Adams of Monticello, Ky.; five brothers, Hobie Hall of Eubank, Ky., Ralph (Tammy) Hall of Burnside, Ky., Jimmy Lee Hall of Slate Branch Community, Eddie Hall of Somerset, Ky and Mickie (Sheila) Hall of Slate Branch Community; and two sisters, JoAnn Calhoun of Somerset, Ky. and Ruth (James) Eubanks of the Slate Branch community.

He is also survived by friends that are like family: “The Boy” Kevin Black, and Johny and Shirley Harrison, all of Eubank, Ky.

He is also survived by a special nephew, Jerry (Ruth) Hall of the Slate Branch community; and many other nieces and nephews survive.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 after 11 a.m. in Chapel B of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Chapel B of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Pilot Cemetery in Eubank, Ky.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
