Stephen Burnett
Stephen Burnett, age 50 of Dry Ridge, Ky. and formerly of Somerset, Ky. passed away on Monday, May 6, 2014. 
He was born on July 3, 1963 in Covington, Ky. to the late Eugene and Doris Sears Burnett. Stephen enjoyed Nascar racing, fishing, camping and the outdoors. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Pamela Schneider. 
He is survived by two sons, Stephen Ross Burnett and Adam Tyler Burnett, both of Somerset, Ky.; two brothers, Richard Burnett of Nicholasville, Ky. and Jeffery (Angela) Burnett of Dry Ridge, Ky.; two  grandchildren, Brayden Burnett and Zachery Burnett; and his former wife and the mother of his children, Lisa Phelps Burnett of Somerset, Ky. 
He is also survived by several nephews and one niece. 
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Burnett officiating. 
Burial will be in the Sears Cemetery in Shopville, Ky. 
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice. 
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
 
Jeraldine Kelley
Jeraldine Kelley, 73, of Nancy, Ky., passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. 
She was born in Vermillion County, Ind. on July 3, 1940 to the late Merel Newkirk and Margaret Neman Newkirk. Jeraldine was united in marriage to John B. Kelley in Hamilton, Ohio on July 30, 1963. Jeraldine was a member of the Oak Grove No. 1 Baptist Church in Nancy. She had worked as a general laborer for Cintas Corporation and she was a Kentucky Colonel.
Preceding Jeraldine in death, other than her parents, were brothers William, Louis, Larry and Gail Newkirk; and sisters Mildred Wheat and Ella Mae Carson.
