Mr. Rader leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Linda Slusher Rader; sons, Brian (and Diana) Rader of Brooksville, Florida and Jody (and Serena) Roberts of London, Ky.; daughter, Amy (and Glenn) Chesnut of London, Ky., and Kristin (and Travis) Ayres of London, Ky.; brother, Earl (and JoAnn) Rader of Somerset; sisters, Betsie (and Harold) Wilder of Springfield, Ohio, Thelma (and Wayne) Harding of Mount Vernon, Ky., Geraldine (and Lonnie) Reppert of Berea and Mary (and Greg) Pierce of Arkansas; uncles, Immanuel (and Barbara) Rader of Mount Vernon, Earl (and Ruby) Rader of Georgia; along with 12 grandchildren and a host of friends. 
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Louise Philbeck; son, Jeffery Rader; brothers, Ballard C. Rader Jr. and Roy Lee Rader.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Grimes and Bro. Wayne Hardin officiating.
Interment will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to
the Canyon Park Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 548, London, Kentucky 40743.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.                                                
 
Eddie Whitis
Eddie Gene Whitis, 77, of Whitis Road, Somerset, Kentucky departed this life Thursday November 28, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born July 30, 1936 in the Price Valley Community to the late Melvin Lee Whitis and Elsie Hawk Whitis. He worked for the Kentucky State Highway Department and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Maxine Miller Whitis, whom he married on November 1, 1969 in
Jellico, Tenn.; a daughter, Connie Jean Whitis of Somerset, Ky.; step-son, David Edward Dobbs of Winchester, Ky.; three step-grandsons, Matthew Dobbs, Michael Dobbs of Winchester, Ky., and B.J. Duncan of Cincinnati, Ohio; one step-granddaughter, Tonya Redd of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step-great-grandchildren, Harley Redd of Cincinnati, Ohio and Lincoln Dobbs of Winchester, Ky.; sister-in-law, Joyce Whitis; two nephews, Dennis (and Paula) and Ken Whitis, both of Somerset; two nieces, Donna (and Ronny) Warren of Somerset and Patty (and Keith) Whitaker of Shopville, Ky.; along with several great nieces and nephews.
