Austin Lee Perry

Austin Lee Perry, 77, of Stearns, Ky., passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at his home after a long battle with lung cancer. 
Lee was born May 3rd of 1935, in Smithtown, Ky. The son of the late Alvin and Mable (Mee) Perry; He worked has a coal and enjoyed sitting up at the flea markeret. He was of the Baptist Faith. 
His parents and brothers, Mathew Perry, Miles Sonny Perry and Robert Perry precede him in death.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Sue Bray Perry formally from Tateville, Ky.; nine children; three sons, Bill and Kim Letner, Elbert and Sheila Perry, and Elmer Perry; six daugters, Janet and Marcus Saunders, Nola and Travis Mounce, Lena Perry, Kim Grundy; one very special daughter-at-heart, Lola Marie Perry, and his “baby” Tammy and her husband Gary Baker; three brothers, Virgil Curtis Perry of Stearns, Deastle Eugene Perry, of Huntsville Ala., and Steven Roger Perry of Smithtown, Ky.; and one sister, Janie Echo Leytham of Indianoppolis. Lee had 26 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
Layout and visitation will be held at Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Ky., on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, recieving family from 4-9 p.m., and friends from 6-9 p.m. 
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29 at 1 p.m. 
He will be laid to rest at Gravehill Cemetary in Tateville, Ky.
