Rotary Exchange team at Meece

Members of a Rotary Club exchange group study team from the country of India recently presented to students at Meece Middle School.

The India team presented information about the geography, culture, economy and history of India to the students in the school media center. The team then fielded questions from the students and teachers. This international visit to Meece Middle was part of the school PROJECT WORLD program which has connected students with other students and individuals from several countries around the world either in person or via video-conferencing.

Members of the team from India included Swati Gokhale, Ravi Shivde and Anuradha Totey (physicians), Vaishali Balajiwale (journalist) and Anindo Ray (technology entrepreneur).

The Rotary Exchange team was under the direction of Ms. Linda Skaarup.
