Nancy High School holds 55th year reunion

Somerset — Nancy High School class of 1956 recently met at the old Pisgah School House in a very relaxed and informal atmosphere to celebrate its 55th year reunion.

Fourteen members attended the gathering and enjoyed a delicious buffet style meal prepared by Glenda Girdler Wilson (wife of classmate Darrell Wilson) and her sister Gayla.

Attendees (front row) are Mike Daulton, Wendell Owen, Betty Barker Dalton, Carlie Wilson and president, Kelly Bowling; second row, Darrell Wilson, Garvis Burkett, Betty Keeney Smith, Anna Fae Minton Meece and Regena Norfleet Owen; third row, Glen (a/k/a Roy) Luttrell, Lucreita Prather Roberts, Jo Nell Pierce Prather and Marie Eastham Gaskin.

The class plans to meet again in 2013 to celebrate its 57th year reunion.
