Gina Marie McMullin and Gary Lollis West were united in marriage Saturday, September 6, 2008, at two o’clock in the afternoon at Bethel Baptist Church.
Pastor Phil Fisher officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Doug and Gina McMullin of Eubank, Ky. She is the granddaughter of Sybil Woodall and the late Delmar Woodall of Somerset, Ky., and Bernice McMullin and the late Coy McMullin of Eubank, Ky.
The groom is the son of Glen and Tonya West of Pembroke, Ky., and Gina and Chuck Cornell of Madisonville, Ky. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Lockhart of Pembroke and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wilson of Elkton, Ky., and Glendle West of Hopkinsville, Ky.
Ashley Bishop, friend of the bride, Lexington, was maid of honor. Jessica Davis, friend of the bride, Somerset, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids included Christina Harbold, Hopkinsville; Libby Northern, Bowling Green; Shelly Harden, San Diego, Calif.; Dianna Sanders, Elizabethtown, Ky.; Ashley Branscum, Somerset; Sara Lee, Bowling Green, all friends of the bride.
Dakota Jo and Alexia McMullin, nieces of the bride, Somerset, were flower girls.
The guest register was kept by Annie Evans, friend of the bride and groom, Owensboro.
Shantelle Woodall, cousin of the bride, Somerset, was in charge of the wedding programs and bubbles.
Josh Hester, friend of the groom, San Diego, Calif., was best man.
Groomsmen included David Erickson, Bowling Green; Lance Harbold, Hopkinsville; Drew Vincent, Nashville, Tenn.; Ryan Winders, Lexington; Ross Love, Evansville, Ind., all friends of the groom, and Dougie and Ronnie McMullin, Somerset, brothers of the bride.
Dresden McMullin, nephew of the bride, Somerset, and Maddox Davis, friend of the bride, Somerset, were ring bearers.
Ushers included Elliot Bloomer, friend of the bride and groom, Lexington, and Tyler and Travis Wade, cousins of the bride, Somerset.
Wedding coordinator was Dawna Wade, cousin of the bride, Somerset.
Donald Crouch, friend of the bride, Somerset, was sound coordinator.
The music was supplied by Suzy Gholson, friend of the bride, Somerset. She played “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Trumpet Voluntary and the Wedding March.
Misty Resch, cousin of the bride, Somerset, sang “From This Moment.”
A rehearsal dinner was held at Bethel Baptist Church.
A reception was held at The Center for Rural Development, Somerset. It was catered by Jann’s Catering. Also assisting were Deloris Woodall, aunt of the bride, Somerset; Dawna Wade, cousin of the bride, Somerset; and Brenda Venoy, friend of the bride, Eubank.
Music was provided by the band, Durty Walrus, friends of the bride and groom. The band includes David Erickson, Andrew Davis, Matt Rich and Scott Steward, all of Bowling Green.
The bride is employed as a certified teller at BB&T in Bowling Green.
The groom is employed as an electrician at S&S Electric in Bowling Green.
The couple took their honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and are residing in Scottsville, Ky.
