Kenny and Karen Edwards, Somerset, wish to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kendra Sharpe, Somerset, to Kevin Johnson, Whitley City.
Mr. Johnson is the son of Brinda Johnson, Sunbright, Tenn., and Ray Johnson, Grandview, Tenn.
Ms. Sharpe is the granddaughter of Hazel Edwards, Somerset, and the late Johnnie Edwards, and the late Pete and Juanita McKee, Science Hill. She is the sister of Karesa (and Eric) Crockett, Somerset; Krystal Edwards, Lexington; and Kara (and Brandon) Sweet, Somerset.
Mr. Johnson is the grandson of the late John and Mary Johnson of Rockwood, Tenn., Novella Smith, Sunbright, Tenn., and the late Frank Smith.
An outdoor ceremony will be held at the Edwards’ farm in Somerset May 10, 2008, at 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon.
